Not Much to Show For It

Well, I had another lesson today.

We discovered something... at least, the instructor discovered it, and
I told him I had suspected it.

The reason my camera won't go into several modes is that it
has broken.  I'm not sure how... though I suspect something.

I can still shoot in manual and in "programmable" mode, and
we made several pictures at the shop, and I was able to
get a decent picture.  He did not charge me for the lesson, either, so I still have a coupon to use.

On the way home was another story... I came upon a hawk in
a ditch... it was a perfect chance to take closeups... and I botched them.
It was on a dangerous curve here in the county, and I was so nervous about someone coming up behind me that I fumbled around.

Here is the first:

A little closer.

After that, it was a series of blurs, doggone it.

This guy was a little further along the way home.  I actually did get this the way I wanted it, and you can see how cloudy it was out today.

This is the yard I showed you burned a week or so again.  All green!

I saw these guys a little further down the road, this is a group of jakes, young males.

I got out of the car to take this.

I saw two white squirrels over at the park today when we went to walk, so I am
going to try to go over there in the next few days and try to catch them.
We walked, despite the fact it started raining when we got there... but...
we didn't walk long!

We need rain here!

  3. I'm glad you found out.

I think mine has been broken a long time and I did not know until it quit completely. was blaming myself. Now my little Power Shot is dying but my big lens is gone for repair.

  4. You find such wonderful subjects for your photos. I think your photos look good - especially considering that your camera is broken. Love the photo of the horse.
