Now that the leaves are beginning to fall, I am starting to see hawks again.
Of course, most of them are on the fly.
And my hands were obviously shaking when I took the pictures!
And several on the ground.
Some I had a better shot at than others.
At least, for a moment!
Neat!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I didn't realize until I saw these how much I've missed your raptor shots!

I'm glad to be seeing your Hawks again. I see so few of them around here and I always enjoy your photos. I hope you are doing well also. I have been thinking of you. I was going to send you a little something, but I seem to have lost your address. So, here are some virtual donkey hugs coming your way instead:)

I watched a big hawk with binoculars yesterday. Seemed too big to be a hawk, but it was. Had hoped it was an owl. Great shots!

Wow! I saw one like the second from the last one some years ago standing by the side of the road when we were coming to work. I wasn't sure what it was (had never seen a hawk! It seemed to be standing so straight--never saw anything like it. Someone finally told me they thought it was a hawk.
ReplyDeleteVery cool pictures.
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well.

Good shots, Mary Ann! I wish I'd had my phone with me when a hawk swooped down at my eye level the other day in the back yard, but I was too busy waving my arms and yelling in case it was after my little 10 pound dachshund!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!! He better be careful on those lines!!
ReplyDeleteHe'll be a fried hawk soon!!
