The show goes on!
These beautiful squash and pumpkins were at the grocery tonight... but it was nearly 100 degrees out.
Think fall, everyone!
Someone was hungry for Chinese food tonight, and managed to get a third of
his plate down . This is an accomplishment!
See that cow on the left?
I was afraid she had become stuck in the mud. I went slowly up the road when I came back by.... she was not. Look how low she is, though!
There is a heron in the middle of this picture, take my word for it.
This is making me feel better and better.
Stranger Creek is running really high because of all the recent rains.
I love these little guys!
And these little guys!
And this big guy!

ReplyDelete...and I love you for loving those things... &*> ... well thankyou Keith, now I think I have to go make sweet'n'sour stirfry for lunch... and cows are amazing swimmers and surprisingly sensible when it comes to keeping the flies and heat down!!! Huggies, YAM xx
Not quite as hot here, but still fairly warm for mid September. We will just enjoy it as the snow will be here before we know it!
ReplyDeleteI'd be laying low in the water too, if it was 100 degrees and I had the opportunity. It's still very summer like here too with the exception of falling leaves. Our tree is always the first in our neighborhood to start loosing it's leaves. We have been in the 80's this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see Keith. I've been so worried about him AND YOU!
ReplyDeleteWe have been having record heat for Sept. in MS.
Love this time of year
