I have the worst cold ever.
Ugh.
But, we walked.
On the way to the park, I was trying to take a picture of
some weeds wafting in the wind next to the road.
While I was squinting through the viewfinder... I saw something behind them move.
Do you believe this? 11:10 in the morning.
I am told that pups have probably been born already, with the mild winter, though
this looks like it might be a dog-coyote... a male.
He's in good health.
Sometimes, the hawks are far away, and there is nothing I can do about it.
He looks like a bomber on a mission.
It was NOT windy today, but tomorrow will be a mess.
It was a gorgeous day for a walk, if I had just felt better.
We did a mile.
We did stop many times to check the pee mail!
MA,it's mating season. Pups are born in April or May. I told you wrong!! Oops!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. I remember when you were sad that at your new house there were maybe no coyotes. At least now you have seen them,, and I bet you will hear them too..

The Mighty Dachshund seems to get a lot of pee mail, too, if I'm to believe everywhere she sniffs when I take her out.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. No matter how people feel about them, coyotes certainly are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy friend and I walked Tuesday afternoon. We had dance lessons last night. And my friend and I are walking this afternoon. Trying to shape up before horse show season which is right her on us.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you are sick.
So sorry you are not feeling well. Take care ! The fresh air and sunshine should help, but don't overdo!
ReplyDeleteThought of you and your hawks on the way home from work yesterday. I saw three, two on electrical poles, other skimming the ground. Whizzing by I didn't get to see if he caught supper - I'm hoping so. Also hoping you're feeling better today.

The coyotes must be eating good, very healthy looking.

ReplyDeleteScary--I thought first it was a wolf. Never saw a coyote--actually I never saw a wolf either!! I do hope you get to feeling better. One of my coworkers has been out sick all week with the flu. I talked to her on the phone yesterday and couldn't even recognize her by her voice. Please take care of YOU!
