Muffy, a Mille Fleur d'Uccle hen
A Porcelain d'Uccle cockerel
Gertie, on Pasture Patrol

  1. I love everyone of these sweet pets! Our oldest son, and neighbor, keeps wanting us to have chickens and these ladies (?) make me want them to, besides thinking of fresh-laid eggs. And Range, what a sweetie. I'm so glad you're giving him a good home. And not to leave out Gertie here--a doll!

You are a farm lady, aren't you? I just live in a farmhouse, but oh, back in the 70s, how I wanted to have Swiss milk goats!

  2. Love all the "head shots" makes me feel like I know them too.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. I don't understand how someone can abuse animals. A lot of terrible people in the world.

  4. I love your chicken pictures. I love my chickens too. I need to do a post. That dog about broke my heart, who on earth could abuse an animal that way. I am so glad he has a nice home. I loved your pug on patrol.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. You have a really nice blog.

  5. Hello, love all your sweet animals, Ranger is so sweet, can't believe how someone can hurt a loving animal, breaks my heart but thank goodness for people like you who give abused animals love, a good home, a second chance.........Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours........Warm Blessings Francine.

  6. Your chickens are so pretty...I've never seen some of those kinds before looking at your blog. Please give the pup a hug for me...he's adorable...makes me sad to think that someone could be so cruel to an animal!!

  7. Aww I enjoyed these pictures! Ranger is adorable and that's absolutely horrible about the reason behind his crooked muzzle. Muffy is a really pretty bird, love the markings. Douglas says pasture patrol is an important part of any farm Pug's day!

I love comments!
