The VERY Short Post!

Visiting Keith these last few days at the Dwight D. Eisenhower
Veterans Affairs medical center in Leavenworth... no one is
there on Saturday and Sunday, in fact, there were only 11 cars in the
main parking lot yesterday.  Much different during the week, believe me, while
the health teams are there.

This lobby is hoppin' during the week... and I am ashamed to tell you that the last banner on the right was for the United States Merchant Marine, also one of the SIX services covered.  I have walked past these banners for five years without it sinking in.
Mea culpa.

Anyone remember these?????

My life these last three days has consisted of running back and forth between Keith at the VA, and brother Pete at St. John's Hospital right across the street in Leavenworth, and trying to fit regular life in between.
I am going to try to get out to the old house with Lilly early tomorrow to
see how things were left on Saturday when I ran out the door abruptly to
take Keith to the hospital.

I have a beautiful picture of something on my SPRINT serviced phone... that I can't get to mail to myself so
I can show it to you.  I'll try again overnight so I can show you tomorrow.

Told you it was a short post!

  5. Running to the hospital to visit loved ones is no fun at all and tires one out. Hopefully soon Keith will be home with you.

  6. Being back and forth at the hospitals takes a lot of time. Can wear a body down.

    Take care,
