Waterlogue and Dogs

I finally downloaded the Waterlogue App on my Ipad.

I had seen it used on several blogs... and thought it was nice.

The trees in their finery last October, with Spehar's pond in the middle.

And leaves on a tree in Troy and Kathy's yard.
Gorgeous, huh???

I ran to Valerie's this afternoon to let the puppies out for a while... and
Mama Uno came out with them.  I did not know that Uno LOVES to chase frisbies.
I know now.

Here's our own red girl... and five seconds later.. she had a great big vole out of the ground and dead.
Yes, it hurts me to see them... but she is so good at it!

Next week, we hope to have some really good news about a project we are
going to undertake here at the new house, in the yard.
For the time being, I am trying to get hummingbird pictures on the game cam, to
no avail... so far.

I did get to see Brother Pete at his new nursing home... I was very impressed with it... kind employees and
clean... though he is wheelchair bound now, he seemed... okay with everything.
My heart goes out to him every time I see him.

Too soon ... too soon.

  1. We never heard of that ap thing Mary Ann Waterlogue--- but it does do pretty things,, but you take the best photos and you do not need any apps!

  2. That is a cool app! I've never seen it before... must go research.

  3. I've never seen that app before, either. It makes beautiful images; amazing what technology can do!

  4. what a cool app! can't wait to see your new project.

  5. That app does make for some gorgeous pictures. Glad your brother made it out of the hospital, but sad to hear now wheelchair bound at the nursing home. Hope you have a fantastic Friday!

  6. I like that app. Those dogs are so beautiful, all of them.

I know it does hurt your heart to see him like that. Glad he is getting good care Mary Ann.

    Happy weekend.

  7. Aww.. I can understand your sadness about Pete. It is good that his care facility is nice, and staffed with good, kind people.

Love the watercolor effect... very pretty.

    Have a great weekend!!

  8. Your pictures are so beautiful...we cannot believe those puppies are so big so fast, and of course there is sweet lily!!! We are hoping you get a picture of that little hummer real soon. We have hummer's I fink because of the zinna's.....we know your heart has to hurt each time you visit your brother, but we are so glad he is in a really good place.

  9. Pretty pups.

I applaud the vole dog. Voles do much damage and the moles get blamed.

    Great pictures.

  10. Hummers are so fast that I don't know if a game camera can catch them ;-(

My sister and I had a hard time seeing our mother in the nursing home. She'd lived with my sister for a few years, but it got to be too hard for my sister to care for her. We hope Pete will be as content as possible at the new location.

  11. I'll have to check out that app. I'll look forward to hearing about your new project.

  12. Great pics. So pretty.
New project-can't wait to hear about it.

    M : )

I love comments!
