They just look innocent.
In fact, they are the Farm Patrol.
In a facedown at the fence, Jackson turned first.
They've been checking out the new henyard as I picked up walnuts.... and they love the interior, and love to go in and out.
But this is what they're best at: Rat Patrol!
I actually have not seen a rat since July, literally. The "cute" pictures I took of the muskrats eating in the henyard at night were about the last time I saw any. However, the mice are still with us, until we get the whole place cleaned out, and seal off all the holes. Right.
Anyway, these two may be small, but they are MIGHTY, and the bravest little dogs in the world.
Thanks, Abby and Gertie!
Looks like they're quite enjoying their "jobs"! And also enjoying taking a break! :)

Hi Mary Ann, to cute. I agree, the smaller the dog, the more mighty they are. Sweet post, go get em!!! Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that pugs were ratters. Go dog do! The first pic looks like a bowl of pugs.
ReplyDeleteyou probably don't have any cats for a reason, but my barn WAR KITTEN's as the redneck calls them......keeps those Mickeys few and far between
