So sorry! That is the only thing I do not like about keeping chickens and other fowl, everything wants to eat them. I try so hard to keep them safe, but also to not get attached, opposing views,and I have never mastered it. At least her life with you was nice, far better than how she lived before.

ReplyDeleteHow awful :( My heart goes out to you. I have recently lost 21 chickens to a possum and I know how hard this is.
