In the Sky and On the Ground

Now that the leaves are beginning to fall, I am starting to see hawks again.

Of course, most of them are on the fly.

And my hands were obviously shaking when I took the pictures!

And several on the ground.

Some I had a better shot at than others.

At least, for a moment!

  1. Beautiful! I didn't realize until I saw these how much I've missed your raptor shots!

  2. Hari OM
Oh I LOVE the one 'looking at the birdy'!!! Great series... YAM xx

  3. Nice shots even if you were shaking! BTW, did you and Deb see that the gift exchange is open?

  4. I'm glad to be seeing your Hawks again. I see so few of them around here and I always enjoy your photos. I hope you are doing well also. I have been thinking of you. I was going to send you a little something, but I seem to have lost your address. So, here are some virtual donkey hugs coming your way instead:)

  5. Stunning, what amazing photos

  6. Good captures Mary Ann. We saw a huge one flying at the SIL's farm yesterday when we were checking gam cams and target practicing.

  7. Great pictures as always ! If your hand was shaking, I couldn't tell.

  8. Beautiful shots! Happy Wednesday ♥

  9. Great pics as usual. We heard an owl yesterday morning

  10. I watched a big hawk with binoculars yesterday. Seemed too big to be a hawk, but it was. Had hoped it was an owl. Great shots!

  11. Wow! I saw one like the second from the last one some years ago standing by the side of the road when we were coming to work. I wasn't sure what it was (had never seen a hawk! It seemed to be standing so straight--never saw anything like it. Someone finally told me they thought it was a hawk.

  12. Very cool pictures.

    Hope you are doing well.

    M : )

  13. Good shots, Mary Ann! I wish I'd had my phone with me when a hawk swooped down at my eye level the other day in the back yard, but I was too busy waving my arms and yelling in case it was after my little 10 pound dachshund!

  14. Great shots!! He better be careful on those lines!!
He'll be a fried hawk soon!!

I love comments!
